Emma went to the doctor to get her wellness checkup, blood drawing, and immunization shots
Emma cried and cried afterwards. Especially after the blood drawing, they couldn’t get blood even after 3 tries. Emma was asked to come back. Noooo!!! Emma doesn’t want to come back!!!
At the doctor, mommy found out that Emma can say up and down. Emma was playing on the chair and asked mommy to help Emma up and down the chair.
The doctor also told mommy that Emma’s 28 inches and 19 lbs 8 oz. The doctor said Emma’s a very smart small baby. Emma’s head is in the 95 percentile (5% of other babies Emma’s age have heads bigger than Emma), the height is in the 10th percentile, and the weight in the 50th percentile. Emma’s ok with that. She can still play under the table and get into tight spaces, like between the chairs.

Emma turned 1 Feb. 5th. Mommy and daddy had a little birthday party with a few friends: Ann and Evan Gosnell, Valerie and nephew Ace Bodenhamer, Brenda, Dennis, and Kyle Wilson, Jason and Lisa Quadros, Joe Parks, Travis, Mandy and Mikala, and Pat.
to make a mess but Emma was very clean when eating her cake. I think the cake was too sweet and weird feeling, so Emma didn’t eat much. It was fun though.
It was a lot of people for Emma but I had fun playing with all the other babies and Emma was all over baby Ace. Mommy and daddy had few cool gifts for Emma. The Fisher Price learning house and the activity cube was an early gift. Mommy also bought Emma some cool new Shooshoos, vidoes, and a Leap Frog activity table that Emma opened at the party. Even though Emma asked for donations for children affected by the Tsunami, Emma also received a teddy from the Parks, an outfit from Pat, and a learning giraffe from Kristi. Everything was awesome!!! Thanks!
