Powell Garden
Emma and myself went to Powell Garden today for the first time with our friends Lisa and Jason. We had a really great time!

First we saw the butterfly exhibits. The butterflies were very beautiful but I think they could have done the exhibit better. It was just too crowded and since the conservatory was already warm in the first place (the butterflies like it toasty) the whole room was twice as hot with all the people in it. But, the exhibit was only a two weekend thing so that was probably why the garden was so busy.
Then we walked around the garden and looked at all of the Treemendous Treeshouse exhibit. That was a lot of fun, especially because you can either go in or play around or in the tree house. Emma had fun chasing orange balls near one of the tree house.
The garden was beautiful and I plan on going in the spring or early summer when all the flowers are in bloom. We might go this October for the Spooktacular event. Not sure what it is but it sounds exciting.
