Dora and Elmo’s driving us nuts!
I use to think that stay-at-home moms will have this issue but nope, I was wrong! Drew and I would be at work and we’d have the dang Dora theme song or Elmo’s blanket song in our head. Drew was signing the Elmo song while fixing the B2 and his co-worker thought Drew was high on jet fuel.
It doesn’t matter which top-40 or some classic oldies that I listen to. In a little while there will be the Silly Pizza Song or I would find myself say, “Carebear stare.” How messed up is that?
Then why can’t kids move on? Why want to watch the same movie over and over again? Is that why many kids movies have a repeat play? It’s kind of messed up when the repeat play in on videos like Baby Einstein since babies or kids in general should not watch more than an hour of TV a day.
Anyways, Emma is brain washing us with silly songs. We’re just glad we don’t have TV. I can’t imagine how Drew would be if he had the Barney song in his head or I’d be singing along with the Wiggles.
