The last few weekends we’ve been wondering around the little towns that are within a few minutes to a few hours of a drive from us. One little town we loved was Hermann, MO. Hermann is a little town with a very strong German influence. Besides that this place has quite a few wineries and many well kept old homes. So, this makes Hermann a wonderful place for Oktoberfest, Maifest, wine drinking, bed and breakfast staying, antiquing, old home looking, and more. Oh and eating lots and lots of brats! We love Hermann and wouldn’t mind going there more during our stay here.

Two weeks ago it was Maifest. We went there with Drew’s parents and spent a day wandering around the downtown area, drinking some wine, and eating brats. We had a fun time and as you can see from the gallery (if you go of course) that Emma’s favorite parts were probably the pony and the train.
It’s just a minute past midnight. It’s officially June. Welcome June! Can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this month!!
