[thumb:1573:l] It’s still odd sometimes thinking that I’m a mommy. Even when I was a little girl I never really got into playing mommy and baby. I’d play house with my friends but we’d get into the cooking more than taking care of the babies. When I was younger I thought that babies and little kids are cute but only for a little while. I’d get bored and tired of entertaining them and I couldn’t wait for mommy or daddy to come get them. Oh, I hate poopoo too. I never want to babysit if the kid’s not potty trained or if I have to, I’d have my ex-husband do the dirty work. Back then, being kidless was the thing for me and for a little while thought that no kid was the thing for me. Especially I love to travel and just go out whenever I please and work, work, work. Kato was good enough. I could leave him and if it was an extended time, there’s this good kennel I’d take him to in Boise. I was not envious of mommies.

Well, this picture shows just a few of my classmates and it was taken at a get together on October 6th in Surabaya. Sounded like a lot of fun. I was a bit jealous because I was not able to go. Maybe one day soon I’ll see my friends again. They’re all so grown up now, just like I am I suppose. So odd though, seems like it was just yesterday we were wearing our uniform and working hard on our homework and exams.

[thumb:1541:l] [thumb:1537:l] The adoption service had a two weeks trial for each animal they adopted out. Last Saturday was Max’s two weeks and obviously we still have him. He’s too adorable to return and doing so well with training. These pictures showed his first fancy treats. We purchased them from a dog bakery at the Plaza in KC. I missed Kato when I bought those treats. I just remembered all the days we would get fancy treats from the Boise market, the special drive through in Boise that had a dog’s menu, Petsmart (and how his ears would cock up at the mention of the store), and the Plaza. He’ll always be my special dog :(

[thumb:1497:l] The first day, Sept. 20th, we were back we had to go in to the hospital. Our neighbor’s metal and heavy bar stool fell on top of Emma and made a big cut on her right top forehead. I was napping when all this happened and just remembered Drew screaming telling me to get up because we had to go to the hospital. Drew and Emma went to town before I napped and I thought they had a horrible car accident. When we got to the neighbor’s house, there was Emma, crying hysterically and blood all over the place. I got her, hoped in the car and didn’t even bother putting Emma in her car seat. We just used my seatbelt and she sat on my lap while I held the ice pack tight against her head.
