I have this obsession, or desire, to move or at least check out Vermont. If you read the previous post you would have read about the different states that I’m interested in. I have no stinkin’ idea why or how I got to VT but I really want to go there. I looked at houses a few days ago, in Stowe. There’s this one super cute one for $299k. Love it!

Today, when I came in to work, my co-worker mentioned the healthiest state to live in for 2007, and last year too, is Vermont. Whoohoo. Looking through the site, not only was it the healthiest but it also ranked high in education and safety. After this morning, I was more interested in checking this state out, although 15 years from now it might be the crappiest place to be :S

Changing topics, I did get my cushion last Friday. Finally! Today I got it into the jeweler. He’s going to work on it this week, give me a mold next week and if all is great, I’ll have a ring before Thanksgiving. Yeah for me. It’s been a bit odd going ringless. The jeweler is also going to set my old engagement ring for free. Double whammy! It’s like getting a two in one deal So my old ring I’ll wear on my right or when we travel overseas.

One our way back from Drenon, the jewelry store, we stopped to get dog food and I did want to go to Nature’s Pantry to get some cleaning supplies and maybe check out other items but Drew wanted to recycle and it was 4-ish at this time. So after feeling a little bit of disappointment (I really wanted to get some cleaning stuff, soap, etc.) we drove to the recycling place. We got there and the place was closed. It closes at 3 p.m. everyday. URGH!!!! I gave up the nature store, to buy organic cleaning and body stuff, to recycle. We’re such tree huggers!!! We didn’t try to go back to the store. I figured I’d be back next week and I can go then. I can use vinegar and lemon with baking soda this week. Plus I have a new Tide that I have to finish anyways before converting all the way. Yes, trying to help the world a little bit at a time.

The Ebay deal. Drew sold some old, ugly, looking Hot Wheels and tracks for a silly amount. That is so crazy!! I was going to sell the whole thing for $50 max! WOW! We have a few other vintage items that we’re going to sell. One set is some good looking Tru Scale trucks. Check these babies out!
