You want something quick and good for you? Try this thing I made up…
- Pasta
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Asparagus
- Spinach
- Chicken
- Parmesan
- Salt and pepper
How much of the above? I dunno. I just started tossing things in but my guess is it’s something like…
- 1/3 box of pasta
- 4 Tbs of olive oil (more if you like)
- Many cloves of garlic… I almost used a whole one
- A bundle of asparagus
- 1/4 a large bag of spinach
- 1 small container of tenderloins… it cost $2-$3… that size
- 4 Tbs of Parmesan and a sprinkle on the bowl after it’s been served
- Salt and pepper to taste
First saute the chicken in olive oil, then dump the garlic in when chicken is half cooked, keep sauteeing. Throw in the asparagus and pasta. Before serving, add the spinach, Parmesan, salt and pepper. Mix it up a bit and serve with more fresh Parmesan.
If I knew it was going to be delicious I’d taken notes! If I make it again I’ll share better info!!

I know this looks lame but this was a huge deal for me. I lost my 8G card, with pics I haven’t downloaded, and was quite ecstatic when I found this thing in between the couch.

Some might think I’m crazy but I call it economical and green. We use household products that are good to the earth. After some searching around they’re quite a bit more in the UK and we’re not sure if the base would carry the brands we use… or something similar. I know that now and then at a case lot sale (buying bulk program at a military base) there’d be Seventh Generation products but it’s hit and miss. So, a few weeks ago I made a huge order — good for a year I think. I thought I could ship them APO through Amazon but I was wrong. So here they are in our laundry room waiting for the moving folks to haul them over next week.
