It was such a nice weekend that we decided to go to the beach. We figured it’d be cold still but we heard that the drive’s beautiful and it’s only 1.5 hrs away. It was late afternoon when we left the house but we had a fantastic time anyways. We went to Southwold and these beach huts caught my eyes.
M had a wonderful time. She can’t remember the last time she went to the beach (LA when she was 3.5, btw) and to her, this was the first time. She was cold but she was having too good of a time to complain about it.

We went to Ely that day. To the market to the market we went.
I took lots of pictures that day but I love this the best because it’s been a few months now, three to be exact, since I last took a photo of this guy. The husband and dad. The hardest working, sweetest (shhhh, don’t tell him I told you), kindest, ass-holest (he’s an interesting blend), cleverest (I am the smartest), funniest, friendliest, and best looking guy. We all love him to pieces and he’s what makes our days so shiny and fun. Seriously, there’s no day without a good laugh around this guy!

The best part about moving to a new town is the exploration and meeting new people part. This photo was taken on our first outing around our little village. Quaint, quaint little place we live in!!
Note: who knows when this phone booth was used last. From the vines it seems like it’s been a little while.

On board United 958. This was United first flight to the UK from Chicago after Heathrow was closed fnderor 5 days due to the Icelandic volcanic eruption. The flight was smooth and everybody on staff was wonderful. A full flight, to be expected with 60 people on the waiting list before we boarded the plane but nice.
