Day 200: Nose Lick
Just Shady loving her daddy.
If I change my Facebook status to “complicated” or “single” or “deported” you know why. Sorry, Roo, it was almost the 22nd of May and I haven’t taken a picture for my project 365. But, you have to admit this was a Nikon moment, no? Way better than me photographing my foot/toes, yes?
Look at the dog… how spoiled, huh?!?!? Shady was not happy when M tried to climb on top of them to snuggle with Drew. She whimpered and growled (just a friendly warning type) and was not willing to share. The first child is always selfish. Shady, Shady, Shady!!!
Lets start with Christmas… asked Emma what she wants and she said she wants three things from Santa. A cash register, a computer like mommy’s (pink) and a sleeping bag. I asked her what she wants from daddy and she said a boy Bratz kid for her girl one. Finally I asked her what she wants from mommy and she said that she has a lot of toys already. I asked her if she wants clothes and she said no. She then said that I can buy for another little girl who doesn’t have a lot of toys. I asked her again to make sure and that’s what she wanted. So this Christmas Emma’s going to help me buy for another little girl instead of getting a present from me. I’m not sure if fully understands this but we’re so very proud of her!!

Ours does. We have this outside cat, who sometimes comes in, that we are feeding and taking care of (we even neutered him, tick medicate him with the good stuff, and gave him his shots… or the vet did). He’s really sweet, tolerates the dogs super well, but he’s no lap cat. He’s actually a male version of a bitch (does this make him an asshole?) and plain refuse to be held or cuddled on demand. Drew can hold him for a few seconds but not me. I have a tattoo on my chest… “remember my claw, Simba Boy.”

Kato, my good old and super sweet (dead) cocker spaniel, had a sensitive stomach. He’d puke if the food isn’t right or he got into the trash or human food in general. He was always like this and so since he was a wee one he was on Sensible Choice (a trainer recommended it). The ingredients were good and the price was right but it was a pain to get it. In Boise, I could buy it at an Ace Hardware. But not all carried it. When we got to Missouri, we had to go to Petco to get it.
