To the best daddy ever! Happy daddy day, Roo!! Glad you invited me to Missouri some years ago and I accepted {::SMILE}.

This is our handyman. He can pretty much fix anything as long as there’s no computer part in it. When there is I have a better chance of fixing it, ha!!
Drew’s been working hard on getting our chicken coop ready. It finally is and I think the chickens will be here Friday. We’re very excited!! Fresh happy eggs from our back yard!
The chicken coop isn’t new. The previous tenant built it. Drew got it cleaned up and fixed here and there and the coop will last a few more years. Wood is VERY expensive here. One piece we got for our bed (somehow the bed support weren’t all there) was £32!!
We’ll share some pics of our chickens once we get them!!
One’s napping and the other’s on the computer watching Netflix in my craft room. I love how it’s set up now, there’s his (stinky) chair and my craft goodness. This way he can sit right next to me while I do my thing. The kids… M can sit next to me while Jovie is free to roam the floor and rummage to anything but my paper and little things. So far though this kid is pretty good about not putting buttons and such into her mouth. I’ve watched her eat a button and she spit it out right away and never came close to another one after that. Guess she figured it wasn’t tasty he he he…
If I change my Facebook status to “complicated” or “single” or “deported” you know why. Sorry, Roo, it was almost the 22nd of May and I haven’t taken a picture for my project 365. But, you have to admit this was a Nikon moment, no? Way better than me photographing my foot/toes, yes?
Look at the dog… how spoiled, huh?!?!? Shady was not happy when M tried to climb on top of them to snuggle with Drew. She whimpered and growled (just a friendly warning type) and was not willing to share. The first child is always selfish. Shady, Shady, Shady!!!
First of all, check out our ghetto couch… or dr. office waiting couch. It’s our loaner one from the base. I know I like vintage but this is just not pretty! {::SMILE}. <– Somebody asked me why I do my smiles this way instead of a face smiley. Smilies or emoticons jacks up my spacing. Then I got attached to doing emotions this way and so it just stuck. If somebody paid me to make the smilies look good then sure I’ll do it but for myself I rather spend the time doing something else. There’s my smiley story while I remember it…
Anyhoot, Jovie was playing in our future dining room when Drew came in looking like the above. He tends to get scary looking when he has to walk to the corner store first to get milk before he can have his cereal for breakfast {HA!!!!}. I don’t blame Jovie for feeling the way she did when she saw her daddy. This didn’t last long though. It was one of those few seconds baby cry.
PS: You should have seen the mess to the right of Jovie. You can already see bits and pieces of my craft stuff on the floor. The other side was quite the sight. Let’s just say Drew cannot wait until I get all settled in.
