Jovie has this weird way of saying all done. She’d put both hands under her chin. It’s so so cute!! In this photo it’s a tad bit higher and still adorable!!

Jovie is starting to keep her sun glasses on for a longer amount of time. She’s been into wearing head bands too, just like M. She put the head gear and glasses on her own. Aren’t these two super cool?

Jovie’s one year check-up. A bit late, a month and some days later but we went. Jovie was 16 lbs 11 oz — a wee bit too small for her age. She did get five vaccines that day and a blood test. She was in great spirits after though although with a slight fever. The poor little pin cushion!!

For the most part Jovie’s pretty good at playing along for about 15-30 minutes. This gives me enough time to do dishes and tidy up the house a bit. Vacuuming is always ok to do. Jovie’s not afraid to sit alone while I do it. I can just tell her I’m going to go “vrooom” and she’ll make the vroom sound and be ok when I put her down next to her toys.

Love this baby girl. It’s just her and I most of the days and we have a great time. This was her eating a sandwich… my sandwich that she stole. She loves looking out the bay window. She loves being outside too. We’d go back and forth, whatever her little heart desires I’d do.

Again me playing with textures. I think some vignetting would have been nice now that I’m looking at this.
